Downloadable Now: 'Save as PDF' for Office 2007

Microsoft has posted the bits – for saving as PDF and saving as XPS, Microsoft's own XML Paper Specification (XPS) alternative format -- as a downloadable add-on for Office 2007. After reaching an impasse in discussions with Adobe Systems earlier this summer over Microsoft's intent to bundle "Save as PDF" functionality into Office 2007, Microsoft blinked.
